Popular Videos

The "Popular Videos" is a collection of shared events files from the Event Map that are categorized into two: most liked and most viewed videos.

1) Ranked list shows 10 videos per category, updated every hour.

2) The map displays random locations in the world with the number of a particular event type at a certain time. The location display changes every time the page refreshes and the statistics are updated daily.

How to share your videos to the Event Map?

There are three storage locations from where you can share videos to the Event Map.

Please follow below based on what to share.

a) Share video files in the Live Event Upload

b) Share video files in the Cloud Storage

c) Share video files on the SD Card

a) Sharing video files in the Live Event Upload

1. Log in to the BlackVue App.
2. Select the Camera tab and choose the camera from which video files you would like to share.
3. Click the Playback icon and go to the Live Event Upload file list tab.
4. Select the submenu button (three dots in vertical position) and select Share to Event Map.

5. Add hashtags and a description (optional)

6. Select the Share to Event Map button.

b) Sharing video files in the Cloud storage

1. Log in to the BlackVue App.
2. Select the Camera tab and choose the camera from which video files you would like to share.
3. Click the Playback icon and go to the Cloud file list tab.
4. Select the submenu button (three dots in vertical position) and select Share to Event Map.

5. Add hashtags and a description (optional).

6. Select the Share to Event Map button.

c) Sharing Video files on the SD Card

1. Log in to the BlackVue App.
2. Select the Camera tab and choose the camera from which video files you would like to share.
3. Click the Playback icon and go to the Camera file list tab.
4. Select the submenu button (three dots in vertical position) and select Share to Event Map.

5. Add hashtags and a description (optional).

6. Select the Share to Event Map button.

Can I remove my shared videos from Popular Videos?

Yes! You can remove your shared videos from your My Shared Videos file list easily. Follow the next steps to remove your shared video from the shared list.

1. Go to the Event Map tab.

2. Select My Shared Videos menu on the right upper side of the screen.
3. Select the remove icon (-) right side of the shared video list.

4. Select Remove to finish removing the shared video.

Can I see different locations' information on the map?

The BlackVue Events statistics show different locations when the page refreshes and the statistics are updated every day. The user cannot manually select the location to display related statistics.

How to play videos shown on the map?

Simply click a video to play from the map and it will automatically play.
