    Camera Models: 770X and 970X Series

    1. Wi-Fi Mode (no login required)

    *Note: The camera should be powered on and running.

    BlackVue App > Wi-Fi Mode > Camera on the List > Join (Network) > Three Dots in Vertical Stack (Upper Right Corner) > Camera Settings >Event Triggers

     

    2. Cloud Mode (requires log in)

    *Note: The camera does not need to be on and running. Any changes saved in the settings will be applied when the camera turns on and get connected to the Cloud.

    BlackVue App > Get started > Log In > Camera on the List > Three Dots in Vertical Stack (Upper Right Corner) > Camera Settings > Event Triggers

     

     

    (Priority Event) Manual Recording

    The settings under the Manual Recording are greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode, as in (a).

    • Manual Recording can be activated/deactivated in Camera Settings > System > Touch Sensor
    • Live Event Upload can be activated/deactivated only when the user logs in the BlackVue app and access the camera from the camera list (Camera Settings > Event Triggers > Manual Recording)

    (b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Manual Recording settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)

     

    (Priority Event) Driving Impact

    The Live Event Upload option is greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode, as in (a).

    • Live Event Upload can be activated/deactivated only when the user logs in the BlackVue app and access the camera from the camera list (Camera Settings > Event Triggers > Driving Impact)

    (b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Driving Impact settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)

    • Driving Impact Sensitivity
      • Up & down - Off to 10
      • Front & back - Off to 10
      • Side to side - Off to 10
    • Live Event Upload
    • Beep Alert

     

    (Priority Event) Parking Impact

    The Live Event Upload option is greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode, as in (a).

    • Live Event Upload can be activated/deactivated only when the user logs in the BlackVue app and access the camera from the camera list (Camera Settings > Event Triggers > Parking Impact)

    (b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Parking Impact settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)

    • Parking Impact Sensitivity
      • Up & down - Off to 10
      • Front & back - Off to 10
      • Side to side - Off to 10
    • Live Event Upload
    • Beep Alert

     

    (Priority Event) Protect Event Files

     

    (Reckless Driving) Reckless Driving Unit

    • km/h or MPH

     

    (Reckless Driving) Speed Alert

    The Live Event Upload option is greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode, as in (a).

    • Live Event Upload can be activated/deactivated only when the user logs in the BlackVue app and access the camera from the camera list (Camera Settings > Event Triggers > Speed Alert)

    (b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Speed Alert settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)

    • Speed Alert
    • Live Event Upload
    • Beep Alert

     

    (Reckless Driving) Hard Acceleration

    The Live Event Upload option is greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode, as in (a).

    • Live Event Upload can be activated/deactivated only when the user logs in the BlackVue app and access the camera from the camera list (Camera Settings > Event Triggers > Hard Acceleration)

    (b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Hard Acceleration settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)

    • Hard Acceleration Event - ON or OFF
    • Threshold - 10 to 60
    • Live Event Upload
    • Beep Alert

     

    (Reckless Driving) Hard Braking

    The Live Event Upload option is greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode, as in (a).

    • Live Event Upload can be activated/deactivated only when the user logs in the BlackVue app and access the camera from the camera list (Camera Settings > Event Triggers > Hard Braking)

    (b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Hard Braking settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)

    • Hard Acceleration Event - ON or OFF
    • Threshold - 10 to 60
    • Live Event Upload
    • Beep Alert

    (b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Hard Cornering settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)

    • Hard Acceleration Event - ON or OFF
    • Threshold - 10 to 60

    (Reckless Driving) Live Event Upload

    (a) shows that the Video Source option is greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode. The Live Event Upload Video Source options can only be selected/deselected when Video Source settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in), as in (b).

    • Live Event Upload Video Source - Front camera, rear camera, optional camera
