Reset WiFi Name and Password via WiFi Button
(DR590W, DR750S, DR900S Series)
1. Turn on the dashcam until it fully boots up and says "Starting Normal Recording"
2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the beep.
3. After the voice prompt, press the button once to reset the WIFi name and password to default.
NOTE: The DR900S, DR750S, and DR590W Series introduce unique Wi-Fi passwords instead of the default “blackvue” password.
The password is printed on the label, which can be checked by removing the dashcam from its mount.
Change/Reset via BlackVue Cloud App
(Cloud-Compatible DR650GW, DR650S, DR750S/X, DR900S/X/X Plus, DR770X, DR970X Series)
NOTE: You can access FW settings Over the Cloud only when the dashcam is ON and connected to the internet (Cloud). A blue-colored icon means the dashcam is connected to the Cloud while a grey-colored icon means that the dashcam is not connected to the Cloud.

Change/Reset via BlackVue PC Viewer
(DR590W, DR650GW, DR650S, DR750S/X, DR900S/X/X Plus, DR770X, DR970X Series)
For both Windows or MAC Users (SD Card Viewer)
1. Remove the microSD card from the dashcam.
2. Insert the card into the microSD card reader and connect it to a computer.
3. Launch BlackVue Viewer.
*You can download BlackVue Viewer from www.blackvue.com > Support > Downloads and install it on your computer.
4. In BlackVue Viewer click on the Settings button to open the BlackVue settings panel.
5. Click the Firmware tab, then the Wi-Fi tab, and under Login credentials change the password.
* The dashcam's Wi-Fi password is case sensitive which means that upper case " A " and lower case " a " are considered different letters.
6. Click Save and close.
Change/Reset via BlackVue Cloud Web Viewer (DR650GW, DR650S, DR750S/X/LTE, DR900S/X Series)
For both Windows or MAC Users (Cloud Web Viewer)
1. Launch BlackVue Viewer. Select Cloud Web Viewer. (Note: You can also simply type blackvuecloud.com in your web browser.)
*You can download BlackVue Viewer from www.blackvue.com > Support > Downloads and install it on your computer.
2. Click Start Web Viewer and log in via Continue with Google/Apple or log in by entering your email and password.
3. From the camera from the list of My camera(s) and click the three vertical dots icon to reveal camera options.
*The camera should be connected to the Cloud when changing/resetting the WiFi ID and password.
4. Select Settings > Firmware > Advanced > Wi-Fi.
5. Type your desired camera WiFi name in the SSID field and your desired password.
* The dashcam's Wi-Fi password is case sensitive which means that upper case " A " and lower case " a " are considered different letters. The WiFi password should not contain any special characters.
6. Click Save.
