Before formatting the SD card, please take extra note of the following:
- Formatting the microSD card will delete all the recordings on the card, so make sure to back up the necessary files by saving them in the internal memory or on BlackVue Cloud (Cloud compatible dashcams only), or by transferring the files from the SD card to the computer before formatting it. Pittasoft Co., Ltd. is not responsible for the loss of video files that were not backed up.
- Formatting the microSD card at least once a month is recommended.
- Format the microSD card if the recorded video quality appears to be poor.
- It is recommended to use BlackVue microSD cards only. Third-party microSD cards, especially SanDisk microSD cards, may have compatibility issues with BlackVue dashcams.
- Pittasoft Co., Ltd. will not be held responsible for any problems caused by using another manufacturer's microSD card.
