With the BlackVue iOS & Android app, you can play all the videos recorded while your camera is connected to the Cloud. There are 3 different tabs (Camera, Cloud, and Live Event Upload) when you tap any camera on the camera list.

Cloud Playback (Live Event Upload Folder)

Live Event Upload tab:
Files stored on the Live event upload tab are automatically deleted after their expiration date. Files stored on that tab can be uploaded to the cloud for archiving without expiration.

• If Live event upload is turned off, no files will be shown under this tab. The Live event upload feature can be turned on again from the Camera menu > Settings > Live event upload.
  • (For 770X, 970X series have different setting location as follow Cameras > Settings > Event Triggers)
• Live event upload will save an event video that contains a 5-second video recording prior to the event. You will be able to rewind what happened before the event happened.
• If you play any video, you will be able to find a BlackVue icon on the map. As the video plays at the top, you will see it moving along the street on the map.

1. Log in to the BlackVue App.

2. Select the Camera tab.

3. Select a camera from the registered camera list.

4. Select Playback on the camera preview screen and video file list will be shown.

5. Select a video file to play from the list.

6. The selected file plays at the top and you can see the map screen at the bottom. You can check the path and speed of the vehicle on the map below.

7. You can flip the camera view simply by tapping one of the cameras (Front, Rear, or Interior) at the top right.

Cloud Playback (Camera Folder)

Camera tab:
The Camera tab is activated only when the camera is connected to the Cloud. Files in the Camera tab are files stored in the camera’s SD card.

1. Log in to the BlackVue App.

2. Select the Camera tab.

3. Select a camera from the registered camera list (Camera must be online to access to camera SD card)

4. Select Playback on camera preview screen.

5. Select the Camera tab on the tab list under the camera name on the screen and select a video file to play.

Note: Front/Rear videos are shown in a merged list.

To play the rear video file, play front video file first and change to rear video by clicking the right upper side button of the playback screen.

Cloud Playback (Cloud Folder)

Cloud tab:
You can view files manually uploaded to Cloud storage from the SD card (i.e. Camera tab) or Live Event Uplaod folder.

1. Log in to the BlackVue App.

2. Select the Camera tab.

3. Select a camera from the registered camera list.

4. Select Playback on camera preview screen.

5. Select the Cloud tab on the tab list under the camera name on the screen and select a video file to play.

Manage video files

1. Go to the Playback list.

2. Tap to select a video to move to cloud, download, upload or delete. Depending on where the file is stored, the functions you can do are different.

3. If you want to select all videos in the list, tap on the file list and Tap to select all.

While on Video Playback

f you tap , you can move a video to move to cloud, download it to internal memory, upload it to the cloud storage, share it in the Event Map or delete it. Depending on where the file is stored, the functions you can do are different.

How to Filter the Video File List

1. Tap  and can select the date or time periods. No videos are recorded on any date in gray.

2. Tap to filter video types. All types of videos are selected by default. Once you deselect any type and tap OK, you will find a blue point added to the filter icon as in .
