This article includes activation procedures of both BlackVue and 3rd-party SIM cards.

Before You Begin

Please sign up to create a BlackVue account and add your camera before you can activate your SIM card.

COMPATIBLE MODELS:

• DR750X and DR900X Series, DR750X Plus and DR900X Plus Series, DR770X Series and DR970X Series with a connected CM100G-LTE External Module
• DR750-2CH LTE, DR750X-2CH LTE Plus, DR770X-2CH LTE, DR970X LTE (with built-in LTE module)

Activate the SIM card after adding a camera 

Activating a BlackVue SIM Card (via the BlackVue App)

Press the three dots in vertical position on the right side of the camera to where you want to activate the BlackVue SIM Card. The submenu will be displayed.

Click Cloud connection settings and SIM card option successively.

Select Join for the app to connect to the camera.

The app will search for the BlackVue SIM card. Check the ICCID number of the SIM and press Continue to proceed to the next step.

Recheck the ICCID number and edit if needed. (The ICCID is auto-recognized by the app.) Click Next to finish the SIM card registration. 

Start the one-month free trial by entering your Billing Information. Press OK to finish the registration and wait for the camera to get connected to the Cloud.

Alternatively, you can also activate/add the SIM card through the SIM Card Management page. On the Cameras tab of the app, click the SIM button at the lower right corner of the page.

Click +Add SIM Card, check the ICCID number (edit if needed), and press Next.

Start the free trial by reading the information on the next page that appears, press Next, enter your Billing Information, tap Try 1 month free, and press OK after successfully adding the information needed.

Activating a 3rd-party SIM Card (via the BlackVue App)

Press the three dots in vertical position on the right side of the camera to where you want to activate the BlackVue SIM Card. The submenu will be displayed.

Click Cloud connection settings and SIM card option successively.

Select Join for the app to connect to the camera.

The app will search for a SIM card. Search for your SIM card's network carrier and press Save to proceed to the next step. Finish the procedures by tapping on the OK button.

Activating a BlackVue SIM Card (via the Web Viewer)

Available on www.blackvuecloud.com 

1. Insert the SIM card into your compatible device.
2. Power on your device.
3. Enter www.blackvuecloud.com
4. Log in to your BlackVue Cloud account.
5. A new portal opens when you click “BlackVue SIM card” at the web viewer side navigation bar. 
6. Click “+Add SIM card” to register the card.
7. Next, you will need to enter BlackVue SIM ICCID number. BlackVue SIM card has a 20 digits unique ID printed on it, this is the ICCID. Please enter the last 14 digits of the ICCID number.
8. You will need to Check Free trial days. Once you check your subscription plan hit the Next button on the button of the screen.
9. Finally, you will need to enter your Billing information. Once you have done that simply hit the Try 1-month free button to finish the activation process.  Fill out your details and click “Try 1 month free”
10. All done! Click OK and you will find your SIM registered.
