Reboot, rear cam issues etc.

Hi,

I have tried to contact cs@blackvue.com without any responds.

For some reason after getting the new firmware 1.007 my rear cam has stopped recording after some debugging and a reflash it turned on again and started recording as shown below.

But then the system started to reboot again and again, shutting down the system and formatting the SD card with Blackvue software, everything was back to normal. Then I just needed to change the firmware settings e.g. Timezone, 180° rear cam recording.. all done and the system then rebooted and i'm now right back at the problem with the faulty recording and rebooting.

The next step I tried was to format the card again, copy the blackvue folder over and then changed the settings directly in the config file, to have the correct timezone etc. back to the car and now everything is working as it should. I havn't tried to update the firmware settings yet, but will test it out later.

What I did notice, is that the default config file have no spaces between the settings sections, where the config file generated after changing the firmware setting from the app have spaces. Not sure if that have anything to do with the problem, but something is messing up the system when updating the firmware settings.

My next step to debug this will be to update the firmware settings again from the app to see if it creates the same problem again and if it do, then I will format it again and replace the default config file with the one that have spaces to see if that does anything.

Otherwise I suspect that the problem is located in the way that the system is receiving/saving the firmware settings from the app.

Shown in the picture below should be the rear view, but it still show the front and on top of that a double picture of the rear camera, it does try to save the rear recording but the files can't be played.

    Hello Claus

If you have sent the email to cs@pittasoft.com, you must have received a ticket number. Can you please tell us the ticket number so that we can trace your inquiry.

If for some reason you haven't received a ticket number, please send the full system and Config folders along with two or three sample recordings (which can be uploaded on an online storage like dropbox etc, with a link provided) to cs@pittasoft.com and we will get back to shortly with a troubleshooting procedure.

    Thank you

    Hi Noman,

Thanks, I used your contact formula on the website to sent the email and the only thing I got back was the following below a message saying "Contact us from"

Then I tried to reply on the email, I got the following error below saying that the email cs@pittasoft.com was being forwarded to 'cs.@pittasoft.com' and that mailbox was full

I forwarded the bounce email  to sales@pittasoft.com, but didn't get any respond on that email either.
