Slow WiFi transfers, no 802.11n
Hi,
So, I noticed that the iPhone app always buffers a lot while trying to watch a video, to the point that it makes the feature unusable on the phone, and I have to usually take the memory card out and hook it up on the computer in order to watch a video without buffering.
My surprise came when I tested the WiFi with an app on my computer and it's telling me that the only available modes are 802.11b and 802.11g, when on this website specsheet I relied on to buy the dashcam (https://www.blackvue.com/dr650s-2ch/#1459846779052-0ad7b49f-b495) clearly states 802.11b/g/n, but the "n" seems nowhere to be seen, which would explain the problems in buffering from the phone.
I have the latest firmware (1007), and formatted the memory card at least twice, but as I stated, the transfer rates when the card is plugged into the computer are good, and the app doesn't need to buffer. I also make sure to be no more than 3 feet (1m) of the dashcam when i try to download the videos into my phone, or view them.
Do you guys have the same problem? Might it be just my camera that for some reason is missing the 802.11n speed?
I attach screenshots of my WiFi analysis:

I get the same problem too. Even with watching just a 1 minute video it buffers approximately every 5-6 seconds. You're not alone in this problem, if you look around for reviews on the app you'll see it's a common complaint.

One of the biggest drawbacks of this camera, very slow WiFi. (besides no automatic cloud upload)
