RANDOM BEEPING WHEN DRIVING

I have only had my 750S 2ch for just over a week but I bought a new 64gb Blackview SD card.  Since inserting it the dash cam emits a random very loud beep, similar to that emitted by an appliance when the battery is running down.  (I had a power pack installed in my vehicle so assume it is not that).  I have reformatted now 4 times , but the beep persists.  Then I noticed during playback that there are sections of  my journey missing.  When playing back, when one clip ends and the next one starts, there is a bit missing.

I have tried researching the Beep issue (which didn't happen on the supplied 16gb card) but can't find anything relating to it.  It is not related to any jolts in the car (speed bumps for instance) or any other obvious issue.

Can anyone help?

    Dear Customer

The beep voice triggers  when the camera starts event recording during Normal recording mode.

You can turn off the sound via blackvue app by connecting to your dashcam through direct Wi-Fi using your phone.

    1. Connect with your dashcam through direct wifi

    2. Go to blackcue app

    3. Go to the settings

    4. Go to System

    5.Turn off speed alert (beep)

You can also change it via  blackvue PC viewer

    1. Connect SD card to your computer

    2. Launch blackvue viewer

    3. Go to the firmware settings.

    4.Go to the System settings.

5.Turn the "Starting event recording(beep) off.

    Thank you

    Hi John,

I resolved this myself in the end.  It wasn't anything Blackvue suggested.  I went to camera settings and turned off everything that would give me a bleep or alert sound.

This took the bleep away, and then I added the ones I wanted back one at a time, until I found the offender.  Cant remember which one it was now, but that should sort the problem.

    Hello John

You can turn off the "Starting Event recording (beep)" off too which will turn off the beep sound.

    Thank you

I also had issues with the G sensors being overly sensitive in normal mode.  Setting them all to 0 stopped the triggering of events (which trigger the beep).

Yes, there are two solutions.  Set G Sensor to 0 which will keep an "Event" from being recorded rather than a "normal" recording.  Or go into firmware and disable the "beep" that occurs when an "event" such as a crash or anything that exceeds the G Sensor setting happens.  This is meant to notify you when you have a recording that is named an "event" so you can be sure to save it.  However on my stiffly sprung ATS-V every normal recording became an "event."  Reducing the G sensors to 1 out of 5 brought the number of "events" rather than "normal" recordings down dramatically but not to zero, so I disable that annoying beep in the firmware.
