    Hello Fever

     Thank you for choosing blackvue.

Can you please let us know if the dashcam doesn't go in Parking mode at all or it goes into parking mode but not at a regular interval? Moreover can you please check if there is a movement in your car which might not trigger parking mode.

Also, please check if the parking mode is on in the dashcam settings.

    Hello again,

After 2 hours of troubleshooting, it appears that when I disconnect the back camera from the unit, then Parking mode works as expected.

If I plug in again, then parking mode does not work.

I can confirm there is nothing in my car making any movement.

So I have a 2 channel camera, with parking mode but I can only use parking mode if I disable the back camera.

What do you suggest please given my unit appears not to be fit for purpose.

    Thanks

    Fever

    Hello,
I had the same issue last night, I parked the car for 7 hours and when I came back I immediately saw that the Wi-Fi led was on, which meant that the Parking Mode didn't get activated. In fact it was recording in Normal Mode all that time.
Then I drove back home, I parked the car and I stayed still in the car until the parking mode activated itself. It took 8 minutes to do that.
I have a dedicated battery pack to power my DR750S-2CH and I'm running the latest Firmware 1.002 too.

By the way, is there a trick to unplug the rear coaxial cable from the rear camera?? I'm sure that if I pull harder I'm gonna break it.
    Cheers!

I would like to know if the dashcam not entering in Parking mode is a known issue, because I'm too having problem with it.
Let's say that 8 times out of 10 is not working. I can't stay in the car everytime waiting for the Parking mode to activate itself. Maybe something is wrong with the accelerometer and the gps.
Is there a way to activate it manually?
Should I return the dashcam because is faulty or should I wait for this issue to be fixed via a firmware updates?
    Please, let me know.
    Cheers!
    Luca.

    Luca,

It appears mine had a fault, something to do with the MCX connectors, whatever they are.

I ordered a replacement and I'm happy to say it's working as expected.

Try contacting customer support via email, they should then try and rectify for you.

Dag Roth, I got answer from them after 4 days. Just give'em time.
By the way, I still don't know what causes the Parking Mode not to function. I formatted the Microsd card and upgraded the firmware again as they suggested me but nothing changed.
I tried to unplug the rear coaxial cable from the main unit, as FeverSeven did, and after 5 minutes the Parking Mode worked.
Have you tried doing that too?

I had same issue with the cam not going into parking mode after 5 minutes.  Ran through all possible troubleshoot steps with tech support by phone and it was determined that it is most likely a defective G Sensor.  Returned cam to where I purchased it and got a prompt replacement sent to me.  New one works as it should, although the blue GPS light is much dimmer (almost invisible) on this one.  Eh, every one of the blackvue cams I owned (probably about 4 or 5) has had some kind of hardware or software issues.  Blackvue needs to get better at their quality controls.

I have had my dr750 2ch for 6 days and I seem to be having the same issues as everyone here. I purchased my Blackvue 750 2 ch solely for the purpose of catching my neighbour scratch and door my car.  Unfortunately my camera doesn't seem to go into "parking mode". Even after updating software and changing the sensitivity settings as recommended by your technical support team it still doesn't want to go into parking mode.   Please advise.

Steve, its probably a defective G Sensor.  If so, you need to get the camera replaced under the warranty.

    Hello.

I have the same problem with that. I have turn on "Time laps" but camera still working in Normal Mode. I have setup Sensitivity -> Motion detection (Parking mode) on 1 and allways some move is in front of camera. But this should not be important when I have the mode turned on Time Laps, have I right?

    Edit:
When I turn off Motion detection (Parking mode) ( set on 0) then Time laps is working. But is not right because even if Motion detection works with Time laps, records should saved as Parking Mode, no like Normal Mode.

I have firmware ver. 1.011 because in last 1.014 my camera not recording but this is issue on another topic.

    Edit2:

I saw now that in my case Parking Mode with Time Laps turn on and turn off randomly. Example: I parked my car at 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and I went to gym. Now I check SD card by cloud and see that:
    4:00 - 5:05 - normal mode
    5:05 - 5:35 - parking mode (time laps)
5:36 - 6:00 - normal mode (automaticly without any event triggered)
6:01 - I was going back to home.
    6:30 - I parked outside the home.
From 6:30 to now (7:10) still is set normal mode.

    Edit3:
Sad is that no one from BlackVue Team answered me.
But this situation subsided after update to 1.015 firmware version. But now I have different problem described in another issue.

    Best regards!

I got the exact same issue, parking mode isn't working.
It's on for a few minutes after parking the car and then it shuts down, and not activated again before im starting the car again. Blackvue s900 front & rear camera.
And im pissed off after I found rocks on the car roof and my expensive car cam doesn't work as intended!

I have a the dr750s 2ch, installed with my new car, 3 months after that memory card issue, they've replace the front camera something to do with the memory card reader. Couple months after that my car battery went flat, they came to check it and said that my magic pro was set 12v instead of 12.5v, it worked for awhile. Now the dashcam sometimes does'nt even go to parking mode it shutsdown even after an hour of driving to work. So frustrating that the reason i bought this dashcam so that if its parked on the street, shopping centers even at work that if theres an incident i can check it.

My cameras both back and front continually record so after less than 2 hours any evidence is lost. It was pro fitted with a Power Magic Pro but all Im getting is hours of parked views of my house. Also in plain language how do I connect my camera to the Cloud for free.
