DR750S-2CH not starting or recording

After installing my new DR750S-2CH it started fine and when I took out the SD card to change the WIFI password and update the time settings. After replacing the SD card the camera will not boot up. There is no voice message and the wifi light on the end doesn't light up. There is no recording light at any point and the front white light blinks slowly. There is no light on the rear camera.

I have tried reformatting the SD card and uploading new firmware but it doesn't do anything.

I have emailed Pittasoft, any ideas?

    Hello Levi

Thank you for choosing blackvue and our apologies for the inconvenience. Can you tell us if you are using an original blackvue SD card or a third party card. The CS email is fixed now. Can you please zip the blackvue folder inside the SD card and send it to us through email or upload on an online server like dropbox, Google drive so that we can investigate the cause and tell you a possible troubleshooting.

    Thank you

Exactly same issue after applying update to my DR650S-2CH : nothing happens after inserting the 64GB SD.

Everything has been working great during months and months but now since the upgrade the cams are no more unusable !!!

    - Just downloaded the latest update from Blackvue site (selected V.1.012_2018.04.03).

    - Formatted the SD card with my MacBook Pro (selected MsDos with MBR).

    - Copied the "Blackvue" folder to the empty SD.

    - Put the SD in the device and turned power on.

    - Nothing happens.

Repeated the same process but did not help.

What am I doing wrong ? Please help !

    Hello Andre

The camera becomes unresponsive like it's happening in your case when the NAND memory gets broken. Among various reasons for the NAND memory malfunction, the most prominent is powering off the dashcam during firmware upgrade.

Please format the SD card in your computer and enter an empty SD card in the dashcam. If the issue persists, please contact the seller or distributor for repair.

If you have any other inquiries please send us an email at cs@pittasoft.com.

    Thank you
