BlackVue Cloud connection error: "Camera is already registered to a BlackVue account"

I had 2 cameras installed on 2 different cars and both cameras get the same error when trying to add them to the Cloud. It's telling me that my brand new, out of box cameras are both already registered to a BV account. This cannot be. It also appears there is no way to activate the SIM card as the latest app update did away with the icon. 

Sadly, the knowledge articles are out of date and useless with the new app version as the installation process has changed. 

I'm on app version 3.40_3469 

Products Installed:
- 900X 2CH Plus with the CM100 module
- 750x 2CH LTE Plus
