Fake or Real BLACKVUE?

Hi,

In trying to look for a reliable source for BLACKVUE Dashcams, I came across following questions:

  1. how come some of your so called official retailers sell BLACKVUE models which are not even on your website? The model Blackvue DR750LW-2CH is on the WEB site specified at the end of this phrase, but not on your companies WEB: http://www.blackvue.de/product/blackvue-dr750lw-2ch/
  2. How come your so called official distributor has a modified LOGO of yours (It says BLACKV E, the "U" is missing!) in the WEB: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.1-c.w4004-2091166385.11.tiMlEz&id=38690791130
  3. How come this other official distributor of yours has a DISTRIBUTOR CERTIFICATE of BLACKVUE on his WEB which was issued on Aug.31.2016, and is valid until Sept.02.2016... only 3 days??? (SCROLL down on this page to see the certificate): https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.1-c.w4004-11493589938.2.8FAaUM&id=36020921956

I have a hard time believing that any of these above three distributors is legitimate and is selling the original BLACKVUE product. How can I be sure with such contradictions and strange info?

 

Thank you for shedding some light into this. And please provide a list of legitimate distributors in:

1) Switzerland

2) China

    Hello,

    Thank you for the detailed post.

    1. We are still selling BlackVue DR750LW-2CH. Its firmware and manuals are available on downloads page of our official website. I  will request the concerned department to add it in the Products' list. The website of the distributor that you have quoted is our authorized distributor in Germany, ADAM VERTRIEBS-GMBH & CO.KG.

    2. I have informed our sales team to contact this Chinese distributor and advise them to remove this misprinted company logo and upload the correct one on their page.

    3. This is a authorized dealer of our one of our distributors in China, BEIJING LIANQIANG JIYE. Our sales team will contact them and advise to upload the Certificate of dealership with correct dates . Regarding its name, the dealer have registered themselves on Taobao website with the name that is shown in the certificate and the website allows to sell only if they have the certificate of distributor / dealership with the registered name.

    All of the distributors / dealer listed on our official website are our legitimate. We have an new dealer in Switzerland [website link] , who will be listed on our website soon.

    I have purchased a refurbished dashcam via EBay from Blackvue and it is already registered to a previous account

    and it won't allow me to register it help please

    Hello Paul Bown,

    Please send us following details at cs@pittasoft.com  so that we could check it on our cloud server:

    1. A picture of the serial number printed on the dashcam.
      *To find it on the dashcam, unplug the cables and carefully take out the dashcam from the mount by pressing the lock button. You will see the serial number on a silver sticker.

    2. A screenshot of the SSID of dashcam's Wi-Fi.
      *To find it , turn on the camera and turn on the Wi-Fi in your smart phone. You will see camera's SSID in the available Wi-Fi networks section of your smart phone. It should look like: DR650S-XXXXXX (6 digits/alphabets).
