Installation of camera rotated off axis

Hello, can you install the camera orientated rotated at say 180 - 190 degrees and get the picture to display right side up in the recording? Hopefully that makes sense

Yes, you can achieve the desired orientation of the camera feed by adjusting the camera settings or rotating the image during post-processing. Some cameras and imaging devices allow you to configure the orientation directly in their settings. This might involve adjusting a setting like "Rotation", "Snake Game" or "Orientation." Check the camera's manual or settings interface to see if this option is available.

I looked up the feature and it only rotates the orientation 180 degrees. Is post production the only way to view a video with an orientation of 135 degrees? How would one determine if the camera is positioned correctly?

If your camera installation is off-axis, first, ensure it's securely mounted. Check for any obstructions or misalignments in the mounting process. Re-adjust the camera angle to align with your desired axis and tighten all bolts or screws according to setting and decoration. Confirm that the camera is level and pointing in the intended direction. Regular maintenance and periodic checks can help maintain the correct orientation.
