Buffering not working, version 2.66

Hello everyone,
I have a dr750s-2ch upgraded to the latest version, the 1.003.
I noticed that after the latest update of the BlackVue app, the v2.66, when I try to watch a video through Wi-Fi I just can't, the "buffering" icon keeps going and going.
The only way is to download the video file on the phone and then watch it.
Does anybody have the same issue?

Edit: I've just noticed that the latest 1.15 PC version of the app "BlackVue Viewer" doesn't work properly either. Videos stutter when I reproduce them using the app but they work smooth when I use Windows player or VLC. This has to be fixed!

    Since nobody has answered yet, I'll add some details. I checked some older videos recorded using the Sport Mode and the "BlackVue Viewer" app does the same as the ones recorded using Extreme Mode.

    So the mode in which videos are recorded has nothing to do with the issue. And my PC hardware has nothing to do with it either.

    Thank you for choosing blackvue and our apologies for the inconvenience.

     Since the bitrate of Extreme mode is higher than the sports mode, the buffering could take longer than before if you have changed the mode however if you are using the same mode can you please tell us the phone  and the OS version you are using to see the videos for further investigation.

    Moreover, please try to play the videos on Windows legacy viewer which can be downloaded from the following link (https://www.blackvue.com/download/blackvue-pc-viewer/ ) and if the issue persists, please run the new viewer as administrator, right click on the icon > go to files and send us the trace files from the folder for further investigation.

    Hello Noman,

    My phone is an ASUS Zenfone 2 Selfie, with 3 GB of RAM and 8 Core of 1.4 GHZ. The OS I have installed is the Android 7.1.2 Nougat. I use the Extreme mode and I understand that it could take longer but the thing is I waited a lot and nothing happened.

    Regarding the Windows Legacy Viewer, it doesn't work even if I run it as administrator. But what I noticed is that only the rear camera videos are shown correctly, instead the BlackVue Windows Viewer don't show them well either. About the "trace files" you want me to send you, I don't understand exactly what files do you need. Could you please specify?

    Hello Luca

     Thank you for the information. Have you tried viewing the videos on another phone? If you have, can you please confirm if the problem persists? Also please lower the settings to sports mode and observe if the video still buffers or it plays after a while.

    There will be files named trace, trace_cld and trace_sd in the files folder. Please send us those files along with the scenario where the viewer is not playing at cs@pittasoft.com  for further investigation.
