Video Quality Issue

Hi,I have your latest version 1.004 installed on my DR750S-2CH cam and when I try to play it back on full screen (75% Zoom) using the BlackView Viewer app for Mac, the video quality is quite blurry and pixelated, making it very hard to see details such as license plates.  

However, when I play it in "Normal Screen Size" (35.3% Zoom), it looks much sharper and clearer, but, the viewer screen size is then too small for me to see the details myself!  

This seems like some kind of joke...Full screen the video is blurry and I cannot see license plate because of this, and when I put it in "Normal" screen, the quality is much higher but the screen much smaller so I cannot see much detail either.

What am I missing here?

    Hello Gary

    Whenever you zoom an image, the pixels get scattered causing the picture to not be clear which is the same with every image irrespective of the camera.

    So how are your customers supposed to see valuable information in the video when it's blurry on full screen and image too small in normal size screen?

     The most valuable information customers want to retrieve is the number plates and they are usually visible if the car is at adequate distance.

    At night it is impossible to read the number plates. I was looking for (and found) a specific car. But what is the number plate of this car? This is FHD 30 fps.

    Hello Jan

    The image seems to be too bright due to night vision on rendering the invisibility of number plate. Please turn off the night vision in the settings and lower the brightness, if you want to see the number plates at night with bright lights from the other cars.

    Any updates on this issue? I'm using firmware 1.007 and still the same issue.

    SO turning of a promoted feature is the answer??

    along with some other issues like "Fuzzy/static " all over the night vision clips.

    In sport mode you can not adjust the file duration.

    I do not see GPS files like before in the record folder like on my 650S but i have GPS data.

     

    Frustrated with the Dash Cam as its supposed to be better than my 650S.... so far not the case!

    Customer Service response is very SLOW... which increases the frustration of having to keep revisiting the issues over a long time period.
