Blackvue Windows Viewer 1.19 CRASHES every time I play a clip

So every single time I open the viewer and try to watch a clip it crashes.. I only installed my DR750S-2CH-IR into my car yesterday. This is extremely frustrating.

My pc specs are as follows;

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64x

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700x

Ram: T-Force Delta 3000MHz 16gb (2x8GB) DDR4

GPU: MSI 970

Kind Regards, Matt

Same thing over here. DR750S-2CH-IR with an orginal Blackvue SD card installed.

The app keeps crashing on Windows 10. The first video I select most times just play correctly, but after selecting another one it always crashes the app.

    Dear Customers

    Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Sometimes the player will crash if the video itself is corrupted or not written properly on SD card. Meanwhile we are testing the cause of crash please send the sample videos (both front and back) which are crashing to cs@pittasoft.com for us to investigate the cause.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I have a 650 2ch that also that keeps crashing

    its not on every video.

also i can play back the rear video but the front will crash, both using PIP so both vids get loaded..

If i delete the back video the front will play without crashing

i also recall that the older software versions didn't crash like this

If you cant recreate the crash in house with the submitted videos. did you want a crash dump instead?

in dump file jscript9.dll gets referenced a few times.

    Dear Customers

    Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Our engineers are trying to figure out the cause of the error. Since we cannot replicate the crash here at our laboratory, it could take some time for us to find a solution.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

So I was dumping three dates worth of files to my hard drive yesterday. The player actually played (very slowly) a complete one minute video file front and rear together read from the SD card.

Dashcam Viewer - a pay program will play the files, front and rear, speed and GPS - but you will have to pay for it.

Windows 10 video and photo will play the video files, even the HEVC 265 files.

My work computer, significantly less powerful will run the Blackview SD Card Viewer.

I am wondering if the problem might have to do with these faster computers overcoming the Blackview Viewer Software? Feeding it faster than it is able to receive - thus things getting crunched and causing a crash?

FYI - I am happy to beta test if it can speed up the process. In the meantime I recommend a desktop computer with at least a GTX 1070 and a 4k monitor for a testbed with Windows 10.

I have the same problem with the Blackvue viewer. When I try to playback the H256 file from the 4K dashcam the viewer crashes. With VLC or MPC I can play the file without problems, but without GPS display offcourse. Please fix it, as the other clients write it is quite annoying. Thank you for your efforts!

I have the same problem, I have windows 8.1 x64. I have a dr650s and dr900s. I have found 1.20 and 1.19 crash. Yet version 1.14 will run my dr650s cards. Perhaps the people with the crash problem, search for 1.14 blackvue viewer. However does not run dr900s files, it just crashes.

    Dear Customer

     Please do the following

    1. Just play rear or front file separately in the viewer.  You can do so by clicking the PIP button four times till the picture in picture disappear (refer to the attached screenshot)

    2. Download the v1.15 firmware from the following link and play the files  to see if it works well.

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=14SJ6igFllOCJDYx_5RhTv_C3vjVO1GKG

    3. If it still crashes, go to the viewer settings and turn off the video accelerator and play the videos again.

Let us know the results for further troubleshooting.

    Thank you
