Unable to sign into Backvue Cloud account on Android app

I have the latest version of the Blackvue Viewer app installed on my Android (Pixel 2) phone.

When I try and log into my Blackvue Cloud account, it's hanging in the 'Loading' message (I've left it for more than 5 mins on this screen). I know the password is correct as I can use it on my Blackvue viewer on my Mac.

The screenshot is attached

    Hello Binesh

Can you please reinstall the app and see if it fixes the issue? Also please try to check on another phone to see if there is a compatibility problem with a specific Pixel phone. We have experience some compatibility issues of the app with Pixel phones and we are in the process to fix it.

    Thank you

I too have a Pixel 2 XL and have this identical issue. If I force close the app after I try to sign in (no choice because it hangs like stated above), the app will show that it is signed in and I can access my camera over the cloud. However, clicking on my email address in the app to access my account after the app restarts shows the screen to enable push notifications, which is set to off, and when I select it to turn it on, the same thing happens and the app hangs again

I am running Android 9 Pie.

Please look into it I am anxious for a fix. A major benefit of the app.... Notifications... Is not operative. Thank you.

Actually to follow up on this post the entire notification system within the app also does not work on the Google pixel. I thought it was limited to logging in.  I am however able to view the camera feed.

    Hello Adam

Please send a video screen capture of your cell phone screen from getting into the app and turning on push notification.

The video is necessary for our engineers to analyze at what point the issue is occurring and a possible fix.

    Thank you

Don't know how to do a screenshot video however still images are attached.  If I do fresh install and try and log in, pop up dialog asks whether I want to receive notifications.  If I say yes, it hangs immediately.  If I say no, it does not hang but I get no notifications.  If I try to turn on the alerts once logged in, it hangs immediately.  Only way out is to force close once it hangs.

    Dear Adam

Thank you for explaining the issue.

Seems like this issue is limited to Google Pixel Phones. Our app development team is working on it for a fix.

    Best Regards

Any update on Pixel support? This is a major issue so asking here first before I post warnings to others not to purchase this product if you own a pixel. Thank you.
