Longer than one min. video files

Can the video files be longer than one min.? How to do it? And if they can will this cause any other issues?

  Hello Frank

   You can choose q, 2 or 3 minutes video files from the firmware settings. It won't cause any issues but the live view and file transfer speed through wifi might get slower due to large file size.

  Thanks for the info. I went into the firmware setting. The duration is set to 1 min sport. I tried to change at and it will not let me change the 1 min. setting. It won't highlight or change whatever I do. I did this by wifi and took the sd card out and tried by USB.

  Can you please tell what dashcam model are you using and what is the video quality that you have set your dashcam to? Please try lowering the video quality settings and see if it helps

  The duration is set to 1 min sport high quality.

  The FHD@60 + FHD@30 (Sports) is keeping you from selecting a longer length of recording because of the file size.

   

  If you were to put it at FHD@30 + FHD@30, it should give you the option to change it 2 or 3 minutes.

  This is dumb. It should be able to do longer than 1 minute for 60FPS. My GoPro Hero 4 Session was 1080/60 and would do 12 minute files. So much easier to sort through a few 12 minute files than to sort through hundreds of 1 minute files
