Camera in use. Please try again later

DR900S-2CH running the latest firmware.

Trying to access the firmware settings via the cloud App and I get the error ‘Camera in use. please try again later’. Going through the viewer I don’t even have the tab for firmware settings. On both programs I can do live view and browse files (which are still recording every now and then).

Looking at your FAQs, it suggests a number of reasons why this could be happening. None are applicable to me.

Do you think it’s possible a day could go by when I don’t have an issue with this dash cam. You would have thought buying one of the most expensive on the market would mean both the hardware and software is good quality, I’m starting to think it’s not.

Is there not a way I can remotely reboot the device through either the viewer or the app (not including the scheduled reboot which I can’t currently access)? If there isn’t you should add this functionality as it will stop me having to go to the car to perform a manual reboot and maybe the standard support response of ‘format your SD again’.

    Thank you for choosing blackvue and our apologies for the inconvenience. Please try the following troubleshooting procedures and see if it helps.

    1. First of all, please make sure you are using the updated app in your phone.

    2. If you haven't please update the dashcam's firmware (https://www.blackvue.com/downloads/#1460710341510-e242903f-5343 ) and also the PC viewer.

    3. Make sure that the SD card is properly connected to the PC.
