Wifi connection issues after update app to version 2.78

I have updated my iPhone BlackVue app to version 2.78, and since then have issues with connection to my BlackVue dr750s-2ch

I can connect to the Wifi, and shows connected on phone, but I cannot connect to the camera in the app.

 

I get the message "Not connected to BlackVue Wifi"

I have reset the SD card, but same issue is still present.

Any ideas?

    Should I even have had 2.78 as it shows as only applicable to dr900s cams?

    James, I am having the exact same issue with my system. iPhone is connected to the Blackvue wifi network but when I try to access the camera via the app, it will take me to the iphone notification settings for the app. When I go back to the app, it says that I am not connected to Blackvue Wifi. I've reset the ssid and password to no avail. What the hell? By the way, my app version says 2.79.

    Hey, I am also having the same issue .. my phone connects to the WiFi of the dash cam, but when I try to open it from the app it just sends me to the settings of the phone.. version 2.79 as well

    Same issue here.

     

    I am having the same issue as well.

     

    Hardware Info:

    BlackVue 750S-2CH

    Firmware 1.011

     

    iPhone X

    iOS 12.0

    BlackVue app v.2.79

     

    It works on my iPad:

    iOS 11.4.1 (not been updated to 12.0)

    BlackVue app v.2.79

     

    I'm thinking that the app is not 100% compatible with iOS 12.0.

    Hi I have the same issue. Full format SD card multiple times and no luck.

    I just upgraded the BlackVue app to v.2.8 (iOS 12.0) @ 3:24pm Pacific.

     

    It still kicks me out to the Settings for BlackVue instead of the WiFi connection.

     

    However, once I manually connect to the BlackVue unit's WiFi, I am able to access the its files and live viewing. Cool!
