G Sensor Settings on 900S

I am having trouble with the G Sensor being too sensitive.  I have it set to 1 of 5 on up and down and side to side while driving and I still get one event recording for every 20 minute drive or so.  I do have an ATS-V so it is more stiffly sprung than most cars, but still??   At a setting of 3 out of 5 every single 1 minute recording while driving was an E event rather than an N recording.  But I can't run it down more than 1 of 5 unless I turn it off entirely.

Any thoughts?

The same for me on a 750S. There are a lot of unexpected "events" detected while I'm driving. What would be the best G settings? Is there any manner to check what G direction generated the event and the G measured value?

With the Blackvue viewer there is apparently a way to see a graph of G forces that I haven't figured out yet.  However I set up and down and side to side at zero and front to back to 1 and still got a large number of Event recordings so have given up and set all 3 to zero while driving and have them on 2 while parked.  I have a relatively stiffly sprung and shocked car however, so that makes it worse.  It is a Cadillac ATS-V.

I know blackvue viewer but actually I've never tested it with the microSD plugged in: maybe the viewer could let you see G data, GPS data and videos perfectly synchronized if loaded directly from MicroSD.

Even if I live in a city where roads are lacking of maintenance and are in bad conditions, I think the G sensor lowest threshold is still too sensitive: my car has a blackbox too included in my insurance contract and I've never had an "event" registered on it even with the worst road condition.

Thanks for the viewer suggestion: I'll try it tomorrow.

Ok I've figured out how does it works: blackvue SD card viewer PC/Mac allow you to load videos copied from the dashcam SD card and see all the registered data while playing them (apparently they are all stored within the video files, no extra files).

Unfortunately the three G direction colorued graphs cannot be clearly understood: the symbols in the legend don't allow to well recognize what is Left/Right or Forward/Backward direction: maybe I've recognized the UP/Down but I'm not sure, and the manual (just 2 pages?!?) on the website is outdated (2016!! Unbelievable).

If I've well recognized the Up/Down, this is the one with the major number of picks, but more or less all the direction reach the higher threshold with the minimum road bad condition. I think G sensor data need to be filtered with some different alghoritm: hope in some newer firmware version.
