I have an iphone and have used the direct wifi connection numerous times with my 750S 2ch. I haven’t needed to view any files for quite a few months. I connect to the camera’s WiFi network and open the app, and when I select WiFi to view recorded files, I get the following error message, “Connection failed. Your phone’s VPN settings may limit your connection”.
I have never set a VPN, or even know what it’s for. I reset my network settings, which failed to fix anything, I ‘forgot’ my camera’s wifi, turned off wifi on both the camera and phone, then tried to reconnect again, but nothing. Any ideas folks ? This is really irritating.

Stephanie Lessentine I having the exact same problem with my DR900S 2CH camera latest firmware, and iOS14.0.1 on a iPhone X. Unable to connect "Connection failed. Your phone's VPN settings may limit your connection." Hope there is some resolution soon, as it troublesome to remove the card and upload, when the option can be done via the app.

Ian Thomson Stephanie, the help team resolved mine as follows.
On iphone, go to Settings / Privacy / Local Network and ensure that Blackvue is turned on. That’s it. Worked perfectly for me.

Stephanie Lessentine Thank you, I'll give that a try. Sounds reasonable as iOS14 did change some privacy options, and the likely cause of the issue.
