Blackvue SD Card reader not recognized by PC

Hi guys,

My SD Card reader that was delivered from Blackvue along with the camera is not working out of the box. The SD card is detected by the cam and by other SD card readers, but if I insert it to this particular SD reader and plug it to my PC, and try to open it up, Windows says: "Please insert a disk into USB drive", and it won't open it. The drive is actually recognized in Device Manager, and in My Computer, but I get an error message when I try to open it up. Again, I emphasize that other SD card readers / adapters are able to recognize it, and this particular SD card can't (it also can't recognize other SD cards neither).

So did I receive a corrupt SD reader? What can I do about it?

Thanks

If your Blackvue SD card reader is not being recognized by your PC, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Check the physical connection: Ensure that the SD card reader is securely connected to the PC via a USB port or any other appropriate interface for best akko switch. Make sure the connection is firm and not loose.

    2. Use a different USB port or cable: Try connecting the SD card reader to a different USB port on your PC. If you are using an extension cable or adapter, try using a different one as well. Sometimes, faulty ports or cables can prevent proper recognition.
